## Abstract
AI educational tools are overwhelmingly designed for K-12, neglecting adult learners' distinct needs. Drawing on longitudinal deployment data from a national US research institute, 19 design guidelines were synthesized through reflexive thematic analysis. A guideline exploration tool connects each guideline to stakeholder statements. Heuristic evaluation validates the guidelines' practical utility.
