Mixed-methods study: n=42 CTL leaders/directors (US and Australia), n=18 semi-structured interviews. Four-stage faculty development model: Stage 1 Awareness and Foundations (build comfort, trust, basic understanding), Stage 2 Engagement and Skill Building, Stage 3 Integration and Innovation, plus continuous Frequent Iteration. Key findings: GenAI is permanent; diverse PL models; pragmatic engagement with nuanced resistance (STEM/open, humanities/cautious); decentralized but guided policies (Traffic Light model); dual pedagogical impacts (positive: brainstorming, feedback generation; negative: over-reliance, deception, critical thinking degradation); resource constraints; future direction: embedded AI literacy and scalable infrastructure.
