EduGems is a collection of pre-made prompts — "Gems" — for educators using Google Gemini. Each entry has its own page with a description and buttons to use the Gem or make your own copy, so a teacher can run a working prompt in Gemini without writing one from scratch.

What you can do with it

The library covers planning and classroom work (career caricatures, check-for-understanding activities, conference concierge, CRA math activity, SMART goals, trading cards, form analysis, Classroom and Forms headers, Jeopardy-style games, LETRS lesson planning, micro-inquiry sparks, podcast matchmaking, quiz generation), parent communication, and AI use itself — expectations statements, an AI integration coach, a prompt architect and a prompt doctor, a SAMR activity, an AI-use reflection and a Gem generator. Newest additions are listed on the front page, and teachers can submit their own for inclusion.

Notes

Curated by Eric Curts, who publishes the accompanying tutorial video, newsletter and wider edtech resources at Control Alt Achieve. Making a copy of a Gem requires a Google account and the Gemini terms come with it, so this is a library to evaluate before pointing students at it, not a tool that can be used anonymously.
